He’s already played five seasons in the NHL, totaling 51 goals and 89 assists in 367 games, the most in his draft class. He was the Blue Jackets’ No. 12 draft pick in 2021.Blue Jackets coach Rick Bowness found success last season by moving Sillinger from center to left wing and playing him with veteran center Charlie Coyle and tough guy Mathieu Olivier.Sillinger played 81 games last season, totaling eight goals and a career-high assists.
