The latest generation of phones is closing the gap with professional cameras, offering improved sensors, advanced image processing and stronger low-light performance for photography enthusiasts and content creators.
Photography accessories brand Moment has released its list of the top six camera phones of 2026, ranking devices from Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus and Xiaomi based on their photography and video capabilities.
iPhone 17 Pro
The iPhone 17 Pro was ranked as the best camera phone for creators. Moment praised its 48MP ProRaw sensor, improved dynamic range and strong low-light performance, saying it delivers image quality that rivals some mirrorless cameras. The review also noted that while Apple’s “optical quality zoom” is essentially a digital crop, users will get the best results from the phone’s primary 1x camera.
