Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka visited the Manuguru Open Cast Mine in Bhadradri Kothagudem district and conducted a detailed field inspection.

During the visit, he reviewed the mine’s operations and held extensive discussions with officials on key aspects such as coal production, quality and overall performance.

The Deputy Chief Minister sought detailed information from officials regarding the Manuguru mine, which commenced operations in 1976, including the quality of coal being extracted and the remaining life of the mine. He personally entered the mine and examined the quality of the coal by inspecting it first hand.

Emphasising the importance of securing Singareni’s future, he directed officials to actively participate in upcoming coal block auctions and acquire new coal blocks for the Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

Officials informed the Deputy Chief Minister that employees and workers across the organisation celebrated the allocation of the Tadicherla coal block to Singareni, expressing their happiness over the development.
