The Gordie Howe bridge is having its official grand opening celebration in Windsor today (though the public won’t be able to use it until Monday). I’ve seen it with my own eyes, and it is beautiful. It should be beautifully symbolic, too, a tribute to the spirit of friendship reaching across the border.
