Standing on Toronto’s new water’s edge promenade, nearly enclosed by a bucolic green oasis, you are only reminded that you’re still in the midst of a dense urban area by the picturesque view of the city’s skyline.

“I think this is probably going to be one of those Instagram moments for the city now,” said Chris Glaisek, chief planning and design officer for Waterfront Toronto, on a tour with media last week, about the view from Biidaasige Park.
