Beginning August 2026, 993 first-year engineering students will commence their studies at the interim Batangas State University–LIMA Campus, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the talent pipeline for one of the country’s key economic regions.
The interim campus represents the first phase of the planned 10-hectare Batangas State University–LIMA Campus, envisioned as the Philippines’ first learning hub for industry-based learning. Located within LIMA Estate, the campus places students in close proximity to companies in manufacturing, technology, logistics, and business services, allowing academic instruction to be informed by real-world industry environments and evolving workforce requirements.
Developed around an industry-aligned academic framework, the Batangas State University–LIMA Campus enables students to complement classroom learning with direct exposure to business and industrial settings. This approach provides early insight into workplace expectations, emerging skills requirements, and potential career pathways, while allowing industry partners to engage future talent earlier in their development.
