The Ukrainian Navy has officially been integrated into NATO's command-and-control structure for maritime mine countermeasure forces.

Details: During the Ukrainian-American Sea Breeze 2026 exercise, the Mine Countermeasures Headquarters of the 1st Mine Countermeasures Division of the Ukrainian Navy successfully passed the second-level NATO Evaluation Level (NEL-2) assessment. Following an extensive evaluation process, the unit was awarded Mission Capable status.
