Justice Ibrahim Ahmad Kala of a Federal High Court, Lagos, has fixed October 5, 2026, for the arraignment of Austin Albert, Managing Director/CEO of Loft and Keys Ltd, Loft & Keys LLC, Dubai, and his associate, Jinadu Musbau Olalekan, over alleged forgery, money laundering and N460.75 million fraud. Justice kala had on June 7, fixed today, July 23, for the arraignment of the two men, when the matter first came up before the court.

However, the arraignment was stalled due to the absence of the two men, as their lawyer, Abdulhakeem Adio, informed the court that the charge was just being served on him and that the first defendant, Austin Albert, was outside the country.

Consequently, the judge, while adjourning the matter to today, directed the lawyer to ensure that his client is in court.

However, at the resumed hearing of the matter today, while Barrister G. T. Nev from Force Headquarters, Abuja, announced his appearance for the prosecution, Barrister Abdulhakeem Adio appeared for the two defendants, and Barrister Ogechi Abu of FIDA (International Federation of Women Lawyers) leading three other lawyers, and Oluniyi Adeniyi of J-K GADZAMA LLP, announced their appearance for the nominal complainant.
