The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has dismissed the Presidency's celebration of a purported letter from the United States President, Donald Trump, to President Bola Tinubu, insisting that no foreign endorsement can shield the Nigerian leader from electoral defeat or erase the hardship facing millions of citizens.
In a statement issued by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Bolaji Abdullahi, the ADC described the Presidency's excitement over the diplomatic correspondence as a sign of "desperation for any form of validation," stressing that Nigerians — not foreign leaders — would determine Tinubu's political future.
