Two foreign nationals appeared in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court where they face charges related to luxury vehicles with fraudulent licences.

Two suspects believed to be crypto traders, one of whom owns a fast car worth R2.6 million and was arrested two weeks ago in Parklands during an operation by City law enforcement officials, now also face charges relating to their illegal status in the country.

The duo, who are foreign nationals, are identified as Chukwuameka and Ogaga.

They made an appearance in the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.

They are facing charges relating to possession of fraudulent vehicle licences and being in the country illegally.
