MANILA, Philippines — One of the country’s most influential business groups has urged President Marcos to devote his penultimate State of the Nation Address (Sona) to economic priorities rather than politics.
The President is set to deliver his fifth Sona on July 27.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Management Association of the Philippines said the government should focus on creating jobs, attracting investments and lowering the cost of doing business.
