Before Cristiano Ronaldo became a football icon, his mother Maria Dolores was making sacrifices that changed his life forever

Long before he became one of the world’s greatest footballers, she was doing everything she could to keep her family going in Madeira, Portugal. She worked long hours, struggled to make ends meet, and made sure her children came first. The family lived in a small house, and money was always a problem.Maria Dolores later revealed that she had thought about ending her pregnancy because the family was already struggling to feed four people.
