Opera announced two new features for its desktop browser today: optional vertical tabs and expanded Google Lens integration. Here are the details.
Opera One gets two updates
In a post published to Opera’s blog today, the company announced two updates to its Opera One browser.
The first one is an increasingly common UI setting for browsers: Vertical Tabs. It replaces the traditional horizontal header strip with a laterally stacked view of the tabs, which sit on a resizable panel.
Opera says that “when using it, you’re able to see the favicon of the tab, and, most importantly, its full title – letting you easily identify each and every tab.” In fact, users can display full tab names or switch to an icon-only view, leaving even more room for web content.
