Bayern Munich and England captain Harry Kane has been named the best centre-forward in world football after football experts ranked the top 10 No.9s globally for mid-2026.
Kane claimed the top spot ahead of some of the biggest names in the game, with his outstanding goalscoring record, creativity and all-round attacking ability earning him recognition as the most complete striker in world football.
The 32-year-old enjoyed a remarkable 2025/26 campaign with Bayern Munich, producing impressive goal numbers while also contributing as a playmaker through his passing, link-up play and ability to create chances for teammates.
According to Planet Football on Thursday, Kane’s combination of finishing, physical strength, intelligence and leadership placed him above other elite forwards.
