Snap-on Incorporated (NYSE:SNA) shares traded higher Thursday after the toolmaker reported second-quarter 2026 results that beat analyst expectations.

After the up move, the stock gave up its gains.

The gain appeared to reflect the earnings and sales beat, 3% organic growth, and improved gross margin.

Diluted EPS of $4.96 topped the $4.95 estimate, while net sales rose 4.7% to $1.235 billion, beating the $1.220 billion estimate.

Earnings And Margins Net earnings attributable to Snap-on increased to $260.6 million from $250.3 million.
