Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs. The number of casualties has risen to 18, including one child.
This was reported on Telegram by Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, who is currently at the site of one of the strikes, according to Ukrinform.
"Fortunately, reports of people trapped under the rubble have not yet been confirmed. However, 18 people are already in need of medical assistance," he noted.
According to Fedorov, the enemy launched a guided bombs strike in broad daylight on public buildings in Zaporizhzhia—three locations. Preliminary reports indicate that residential buildings and healthcare facilities were damaged.
“The enemy struck with a KAB and destroyed a large number of buildings. Additional hospital beds have been set up in medical facilities in case of further attacks,” Fedorov said.
