Members of the Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC), Youth Wing staged a demonstration in Mysuru on Thursday, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET-UG paper leak. The protesters accused the Centre of ignoring students’ concerns and condemned the police action against those demanding the Minister’s resignation in New Delhi.Raising slogans against the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre, the demonstrators also criticised the arrest of Congress leaders, including Rahul Gandhi, during a protest against the Centre’s action against students. They alleged that the Union government was attempting to suppress democratic protests instead of addressing the concerns raised over the alleged examination irregularities.
