With the games having only released earlier this month, fans have expressed. their dismay that it has taken so little time to "ruin" the online multiplayer experience.Using the display name 'C Isnt Sharp', the user reportedly caused 'infections' and made Black Ops 2 unplayable on Xbox 360 back during its original run. These infections came in the form of mod menus often spread via Theater Mode clips that would alter a player's game and display unwanted pop-up messages. Now, years after the original carnage caused on Black Ops 2, the same hacker appears to have returned to plague the new ports. Gamers have hit out in frustration on social media channels like Reddit, expressing their annoyance at dropping £50 or more on the two PlayStation ports only to be met with broken online gameplay. Many who played the legacy versions on Xbox 360 gave up on Black Ops 1 and 2 for this very reason, as Activision's anti-cheat systems failed to stop hackers from flooding the original servers. Now, it looks like history is repeating itself, and gamers are calling for action from Activision and Sony to prevent the new ports from getting ruined, too.One Redditor said: "This is the same guy that ruined BO2 on Xbox like nine years ago. What a life."A second added: "I love that the whole lobby from this match have all been posting about it. Hopefully he'll be gone soon."Article continues belowAnother called the perpetrator a "bum" for ruining the player experience "across multiple console generations". They added: "I don't care if people want to mod their solo games but bringing involuntary people into it is lame as hell."A fourth said: "So this guy is actually a known hacker on Xbox BO2. Somehow he came over to PS and is doing this now, which honestly doesn’t make sense considering how incredibly difficult it is to hack on PS4/PS5 let alone go online and do it."Choose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Call of DutyPS5ps4Xbox 360PlayStationActivision Blizzard
