The UAE launched an urgent humanitarian operation in response to devastating floods in Ghana, ordered by President Sheikh Mohamed.

The floods affected more than 131,000 people, caused 45 deaths and displaced nearly 40,000 from their homes.

Torrential rain across Ghana, including the capital Accra, triggered the severe flooding, leaving widespread destruction in its wake.

The UAE will provide food and shelter materials, with teams working alongside on-the-ground partners to ensure swift delivery.
