Columbus Yachts is showing that small can be spectacular.
The Italian yard, one of four helmed by Palumbo Superyachts, has fully unveiled the most compact model in the five-strong Atlantique series. The 125-foot Principessa Capricciosa was launched in March, but the interiors have been kept under wraps until now.
With an interior volume of 299 GT, the Atlantique 38 strikes an ideal balance between onboard comfort and operational efficiency. It offers what Columbus describes as “generous living spaces,” plus more range, lower operational costs, and a smaller carbon footprint than bigger vessels.
Designed by Milanese studio Hot Lab, the exterior nods to classic sailing yachts with clean, sporty lines running from the vertical bow across the aluminum hull and superstructure to the distinctive recessed stern. Hot Lab also penned the contemporary interiors, while the yard’s in-house team and Names by Francesco Rogantin executed naval architecture.
