The myHyundai app now reportedly provides charging facilities within an average radius of 25km, which the carmaker says enables EV users to travel “seamlessly across India”. This is achieved through an integrated charging point network which Hyundai has set up in partnership with charging point operators (CPOs) and service providers. Users of the myHyundai app can now access charging points from these partners as well as from Hyundai Motor India itself.
According to the brand: “Through myHyundai app, customers are benefitted from a unified digital interface platform that provides access to charging facilities within an average radius of 25 km across India, including EV charging facilities across major highways such as Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru, among others.”
Additionally, Hyundai Motor India has highlighted other plans to expand its own network of charging infrastructure, which currently includes 183 DC fast-charging stations in 105 cities. The brand now plans to expand this to 600 stations by 2030, with hardware ranging from 60kW to 240kW.
