A new chapter opens for Nova ICT, the IT company founded in 2023 as an equal joint venture between telecommunications company Nova and Pinston Holdings, a holding company associated with the Vardinogiannis group

On Tuesday, it became known that Nova is withdrawing from the company, transferring its stake to Ireon Technologies for a price of €60.5 million. With this transaction, the share capital of Nova ICT now passes to entities controlled by the Vardinogiannis group, as Pinston Holdings retains 50% of the company, while Motor Oil indirectly acquires the remaining 50% through Ireon Technologies.

The entry of two new investors into Nova ICT was also announced: EOS Capital Partners, through the investment fund EOS Hellenic Renaissance Fund II, and the Latsco Family Office, of Marianna Latsis, jointly acquire a 30% stake in Ireon Technologies.

The interest that Nova ICT gathers from powerful investors in the domestic market is not accidental. Despite its short history, it has experienced rapid growth, undertaking major digital transformation projects in both the private and public sectors. Particularly in the latter it has gained a notable presence through its participation in large-scale digitization and technological modernization projects, most of which are financed by the Recovery Fund. Until May, it participated in projects with a total value of €343 million, of which it was the sole contractor for €187.7 million.
