Donald Trump earned about $1.4 billion from cryptocurrency ventures in 2025, according to the annual financial disclosure his administration filed with the US Office of Government Ethics on June 30, making digital assets the single largest source of income during his first full year back in the White House.

The 927-page filing, released to the public on July 2 after a 30-day extension, put the president’s total income for the year at roughly $2.2 billion, according to the International Business Times.

Crypto alone accounted for more than his real estate and branding earnings combined, an inversion of the ledger that had defined Trump’s finances for decades.

Most of that money traced to two ventures. The $TRUMP memecoin generated around $635 million in licensing and royalty payments, while World Liberty Financial, the crypto firm founded by his sons, produced more than $500 million in token sales and upwards of $200 million tied to equity stakes, according to a breakdown reported by Quartz.

The remainder came from a scattering of other digital-asset projects, the sort of licensing and equity income that barely registered on his filings a few years ago.
