Nieves Guijarro has not had a single viewing on her flat since putting it up for sale over two months ago – even after dropping the price.
The 35-year-old from Hertfordshire bought her two-bed flat in 2019 for £170,000 and put the property up for sale in April this year for £230,000.
However, Nieves had to drop the price a month later after not getting a single viewing – now she is trying to sell the leasehold property for £219,000.
Nieves wants to leave the UK to be with her partner but can’t until she sells, as she won’t be able to afford moving away and still paying the mortgage on her place.
She feels frustrated because she put a lot of money into buying the flat at – and now feels it’s a millstone round her neck.
