Emo Adams shared a heartfelt message after his family’s cars were broken into and laptops were stolen.
Television personality and muscian Emo Adams has opened up about the emotional toll of crime after revealing that thieves broke his and his wife, Michelle Gildenhuys Adams' cars and stole their laptops.
Taking to Instagram, he shared that while the stolen items could be replaced, it was the feeling left behind that was much harder to deal with.
"Today our cars were broken into and our laptops were stolen," he wrote. "The strange thing is it isn't really about the laptops. Those can be replaced. We're grateful that we're safe and that nobody was hurt."
Adams went on to explain that what lingered most was the feeling of being "violated" and "exposed", adding that experiences like this make you question how something like it can happen when you're simply going about your day.
