The 24-year-old’s romance story, however, looks like something straight out of a romantic fiction. She and Ben Felter got engaged about three years after a sweet email sent by Felter that captured her heart. Originally from Palo Alto, California, he joined Stanford's rowing program in 2019 and developed into a key member of the Cardinal squad, rowing in the No. 5 seat of the second Varsity Eight at the IRA Championships during his junior season.Away from athletics, Felter studied computer science and completed several internships, including a software engineering role at cryptocurrency startup Kaladin.
