Exactly one year after the passing of heavy metal hero Ozzy Osbourne, Sharon Osbourne is encouraging fans to remember her late husband not through sadness, but through the music and the larger-than-life spirit that defined him.

Speaking with BBC Radio WM on the first anniversary of Ozzy’s passing, Sharon reflected on the qualities she anticipates people carry with them when they think of the Black Sabbath frontman. She hopes people remember him as someone whose humor, honesty and authenticity never faded — regardless of if he was onstage, or in the comfort of his own home.
