Bill O’Reilly suggested that his longtime friend President Donald Trump “needs a breather” from his White House duties due to his age, even as the war in Iran still rages on.“As you know, I’ve known the president 35 years, and he’s 80 years old right now,” O’Reilly, 76, said on Tuesday’s episode of the “No Spin News” podcast.Observing “that [Trump] is hunching over a little bit,” O’Reilly continued, “that’s normal. You get older, every malady in the world is going to visit you.” He then advised the president to “take the next month off” and “get into an environment where you like golf, and relax a little bit.” O’Reilly made the comments amid the fallout of the Iran war after the Trump administration’s interim deal with Iran to cease fighting collapsed. The U.S. and Iran continue to trade strikes as the shipping traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, an essential shipping chokepoint for global oil, has largely halted.
