MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Transportation (DOTr) and other government agencies will continue providing free rides in selected areas of Metro Manila on Thursday due to the two-day strike of transport group Manibela, the agency said on Wednesday.

Manibela set its two-day transport strike on Wednesday and Thursday (July 22-23) to protest the series of recent oil price increases and push for a fare increase.

The DOTr said the free rides will be available from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. FEATURED STORIES
