Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has inaugurated the Multi-Agency Task Force on Drug Abuse and signed an Executive Order aimed at curbing thuggery and related criminal activities across the state.This was contained in a statement issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, on Wednesday.

Governor Yusuf described drug abuse as one of the greatest threats confronting Kano’s youthful population, warning that the menace fuels violent crimes, destroys families, weakens the economy, and undermines social stability.
