Nippon Life India Asset Management Company has reported that its net profit in the June quarter was up 27 per cent at ₹504 crore against ₹396 crore logged in the same period last year, on higher inflows.Revenue was up 26 per cent at ₹767 crore (₹607 crore) while other income increased 16 per cent to ₹170 crore (₹146 crore).The quarterly average asset under management in the June quarter was up 23 per cent at ₹7.52 lakh crore (₹6.13 lakh crore).Equity MF average AUM grew 22 per cent y-on-y to ₹3.51 lakh crore.Of the overall AUM, the equity and arbitrage assets contribution were down marginally at 46.7 per cent (46.9 per cent) 2.2 per cent and 2.3 per cent. Assets in debt funds were down at 12.4 per cent (14.7 per cent) and liquid asset slipped to 6.3 per cent (7.7 per cent). The size of ETFs increased to 32.4 per cent (28.4 per cent).Inflows through systematic transaction increased to Rs 11,030 crore. The asset under systematic transactions were up 20 per cent at ₹1.84 lakh crore. The AUM from ‘beyond top-30 cities’ increased 24 per cent y-on-y to ₹1.56 lakh crore.The fund house has raised commitment of Rs 9,580 crore under its alternate fund business.
