Nigerian superstar Tems has officially crossed one of the rarest thresholds in music history.
The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has certified "Wait For U", her smash collaboration with Future and Drake, at 11x Platinum, marking over 11 million units sold and streamed in the United States.
"Rolling Stone Africa" congratulated Tems on adding another landmark achievement to her growing legacy, highlighting her breakthrough moment as a monumental leap for African music on the global stage.
With this monumental milestone, officially locked in on July 16, Temilade Openiyi becomes the first female African artist to secure a US Diamond single.
