Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have a few things to get right going forward if they are to mount a strong challenge to Mercedes.
Ferrari's revival has injected fresh life into the 2026 Formula One season, but the Scuderia still faces an enormous task if it hopes to prevent Mercedes from disappearing into the distance in the Constructors' Championship.
The signs have been encouraging. Charles Leclerc has rediscovered his best form, winning at Silverstone before backing it up with a second place finish at the Belgian Grand Prix.
More importantly, Ferrari finally appears to have unlocked the potential of the SF26 after months of struggling to understand the car's behaviour.
Leclerc himself has admitted the team now has a much better understanding of the package, although he cautioned there is still work to do before Ferrari can consistently match Mercedes at every circuit.
