Dimension has closed its third fund, Dimension III, raising $800 million and bringing its total assets under management to $1.65 billion.
Coefficient Bio, one of Dimension’s portfolio companies, was acquired by Anthropic in April 2026. This gave Dimension equity in the leading AI company.
Dimension says that as AI grows, more capital and talent are moving from traditional software to frontier science, deep tech, and biotech.
Most venture firms stick to one area, but over the past four years, Dimension has invested in AI infrastructure, biotech, and hardware from a single fund. The firm believes these sectors will keep overlapping, and now it has another $800 million to back this idea.
The New York-based venture capital firm announced the closing of Dimension III, which is 60% bigger than its previous $500 million fund, which closed in December 2024.
