Bayer has announced the launch of Trance, an innovative insecticide designed to help cotton farmers effectively manage sucking pest complexes, including aphids, jassids and whitefly nymphs.Combining two complementary modes of action in a single solution, Trance delivers broad-spectrum control while promoting healthier crops, improved productivity and enhanced farmer profitability, the company said in a statement.Trance will be available in 100 ML, 220 ML and 500 ML pack sizes across key cotton-growing States, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Punjab, Haryana, and West Bengal, starting July 2026.Increasing pressureCotton cultivation in India continues to face increasing pressure from multiple sucking pests occurring simultaneously, evolving pest resistance and limited cost-effective solutions for managing pest complexes.
