TVS sold over 3.71 lakh electric two-wheelers during the last financial year, up 33 per cent from the previous year, aided by the expanded iQube range and the newly launched Orbiter scooter. The company has developed a network of more than 1,000 EV dealerships and supported over 5,000 public charging points. To support its product pipeline, TVS invested more than ₹1,250 crore in research and development during the year, with over 2,000 engineers working on connected technologies, electrification, artificial intelligence and new vehicle platforms, he said, highlighting a design and engineering hub in Bologna, Italy.Despite global uncertainties, including shifting trade policies, supply chain disruptions and volatility in freight and energy costs, Venu said TVS would continue investing in technology, premium products and international markets to build on its record financial performance and strengthen its position as a global mobility company.Published on July 22, 2026
