The headrest features padded, flexible side wings that can be folded inwards to “cradle the head and neck”.It has already debuted on three of Emirates’ A350 aircraft after meeting aviation standards set by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). All Emirates A350 aircraft are scheduled to have the U-Dream headrest installed by the end of 2026. The new feature will also be pre-installed on all Boeing 777Xs, with retrofitted Airbus A380s and Boeing 777s receiving it from 2027.
