Jul 22, 2026 – 6.08pmHousing Australia, the federal Labor government’s flagship housing agency responsible for delivering 40,000 new social and affordable rental homes, has cut as many as 20 positions as part of a sweeping restructure.The organisation is overseeing the $10 billion Housing Australia Future Fund, which the Australian National Audit Office said this week was unlikely to meet its targets for social and affordable rental housing.
