The Nuvama Private T20 Mumbai League recorded its highest-ever audience reach in its 2026 edition, generating over 3.8 billion watch minutes across television and digital platforms, while also launching its inaugural women's competition, the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) said in a press release on Tuesday.According to the MCA, the men's competition recorded television reach of over 65 million viewers. Television watch time grew 61%, while digital views on JioHotstar increased 66% compared to the previous edition.The 2026 season featured players including Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shivam Dube, Shardul Thakur, Sarfaraz Khan and Tushar Deshpande.Read More: There have been several ups and down in last four months: Indian batting prodigy Vaibhav SooryavanshiThe association also launched the Nuvama Private T20 Mumbai Women's League, which it said is aimed at strengthening the women's cricket ecosystem by creating more opportunities for emerging players."We are particularly encouraged by the response to the inaugural women's league, which marks another significant step in our commitment to promoting women's cricket and creating more opportunities for emerging talent," MCA President Ajinkya Naik said.The MCA said the league's integrated marketing campaign generated more than 158 million social media views during the season. It added that it plans to further strengthen the tournament through increased fan engagement and community outreach in future editions.
