UAE and Saudi Arabia officials took to social media to publicly reaffirm the deep-rooted unity and shared history between the two nations.

Their posts came amid regional tensions following the outbreak of war in Iran on 28 February.

Dr Anwar Gargash, diplomatic adviser to President Sheikh Mohamed, shared a photograph of senior officials from both countries, calling it "the biggest story in the Gulf."

Both officials emphasised the media's responsibility to accurately reflect bilateral relations and counter misleading narratives.
