The Giving Up Nobody Notices
In my last post, I talked about what real consistency actually looks like, not a perfect calendar, just someone who keeps returning to the work. This post is about the opposite process. The one that happens in reverse, so slowly that most people don't realize it's happening until it's already done.
Most people think giving up is a single moment. You wake up one day and say "I quit."
I don't think that's how it usually happens. I think that's some of the reason a lot of us stay stuck. Because we give up without ever noticing we did.
