Aggrieved clients claimed that they paid R10,000 deposits and, in some cases, full package fees months before their weddings. They said refund requests were allegedly later refused, including in cases where the studio allegedly never countersigned the contract.
Clients have described the studio's responses to complaints, including in a Facebook group dedicated to grievances against the business, as aggressive.
However, speaking to IOL, studio owner André Badenhorst and his wife, Aden, blamed the ordeal on a "technical disaster".
