Women entrepreneurs across Nigeria are set to benefit from improved access to productive business tools following the official launch of the Happy Woman Match Fund, a new financing scheme introduced by Happy Woman Solutions Limited in partnership with Mayden Microfinance Bank.
The initiative, according to a statement issued by the MfB on Sunday, 19 July 2026, aimed directly at bridging one of the steepest operational barriers confronting women‑led micro, small, and medium enterprises, which is access to capital for high‑value business equipment.
Speaking on the launch, the Chief Executive Officer of Happy Woman Solutions Limited, Kunle Erinle, described the initiative as a major step towards removing financial barriers that prevent women entrepreneurs from scaling their businesses.
“Through the Happy Woman Match Fund, we are providing a practical pathway for women entrepreneurs to acquire the productive assets they need today while cultivating healthy financial habits that will strengthen their businesses for the future,” he said.
Erinle noted that while many women entrepreneurs possess the technical skills, customer base, and operational experience to succeed, equipment deficits regularly bottleneck their growth.
