(Image via Getty)The legal battle between Stefon Diggs and his male sexual assault accuser, Christopher Griffith, just got harder to ignore. Griffith filed court documents this week claiming he now holds text messages and phone records, handed over by Diggs during discovery, that he says prove Diggs coordinated a violent attack on him in Los Angeles.Diggs has denied all allegations. He was the first to sue, filing a defamation lawsuit against Griffith in October 2025, claiming Griffith fabricated a story about a May 2023 encounter at his Rockville, Md. home. Griffith countersued, and the two have been locked in civil proceedings since.What Griffith's new court filing says about the alleged attack and the text evidenceAccording to TMZ, which first reported the filing, Griffith claims the records include logistical correspondence from Diggs' assistant about booking flights and hotel arrangements for one of his alleged assailants, on the day of the reported attack. He also claims Diggs' phone logs show a direct call to the same individual during the attack, which Griffith connects to a moment caught on surveillance footage showing the alleged assailant on his phone inside Griffith's apartment building.Griffith is now seeking to amend his lawsuit to add new allegations using this evidence, as well as a defamation claim. The defamation claim targets a social media post in which Diggs appeared to address the case, writing: "Mamas a n**** lying on my name because he got caught stealing." Diggs added: "Trying to act like this n**** is a victim because he lying is crazy." Griffith says those posts damaged his reputation.This is not Griffith's first evidence submission. As TMZ previously reported, Griffith earlier submitted over 100 pages of iMessage and Instagram communications between himself and Diggs in response to Diggs' complaint that Griffith had failed to hand over their Instagram messages. Griffith's position was that Diggs already had access to those messages himself, Diggs countered that Griffith had blocked him on Instagram, preventing him from viewing their prior conversation, and asked a judge to order their production. No trial date has been set.Cardi B called Griffith a "light skin albino lizard" and he had something to say backThe case pulled in another name last week when Cardi B, who shares a son with Diggs born in November 2025, publicly went after Griffith. According to TMZ, Cardi called Griffith a "light skin albino lizard" and claimed he had changed his story about the alleged assault multiple times.Griffith did not let it go. Speaking to TMZ in Burbank, he said Cardi believed a liar, and that was unfortunate. "A liar told her I was lying and she believed it, unfortunately," he said. He also addressed her suggestion that his lawsuit was a cash grab, dismissing it entirely. "I don't know why liars lie, but if a liar told me I was lying, I wouldn't believe them," Griffith said.On the question of having a child with Diggs despite the accusations swirling, Griffith was blunt: "In reality, how many kids were born last year with the last name Diggs? Yeah, a plethora. You can't be telling all the truth. Okay, I don't think she would have signed up for that."Cardi and Diggs have since split. The two unfollowed each other on social media shortly after Diggs' New England Patriots lost Super Bowl LX to the Seattle Seahawks 29-13 on Feb. 8. A source told People that Cardi "pulled back" from the relationship after it got "too heated and complicated."Griffith says none of the outside noise changes anything. He told TMZ he is confident the truth will come out in court, and that a judge and jury will side with him.
