Anti-drone netting has already been installed over 12.5 km of roads on the outskirts of Sumy, and the protective work is ongoing.

The head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, stated this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"12.5 km of roads in Sumy have already been protected with anti-drone netting. The protective structures have been installed on the outskirts of the city. Work continues," Hryhorov wrote.

According to him, this is one of the measures used to counter FPV drones, which the enemy has increasingly been using in recent months to attack Sumy. Since May, 69 such incidents have been recorded, 48 of them involving fiber-optic drones.
