A Venezuelan composer claims in a new lawsuit that he’s owed more than $300,000 in royalties from two Willie Colón songs he penned for the late salsa legend.
The legal complaint, filed by singer-songwriter Amílcar Boscán on Monday (July 20) and first obtained and reported by Billboard, focuses on the Colón songs “Caer en Gracia” and “Talento de Televisión.” Boscán wrote both these tracks for Tras La Tormenta, Colón’s 1995 collaborative album with Rubén Blades that hit No. 3 on Billboard‘s Top Tropical Albums chart.
