MANILA, Philippines – Taal Volcano in Batangas had a second minor phreatomagmatic eruption on Tuesday, with ash and plumes rising 2,800 meters above the crater, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
Phivolcs re[orted that the eruption was logged at 8:09 p.m. and lasted approximately four minutes based on seismic and thermal observations.
The first minor eruption on Tuesday occurred at 2:29 p.m. which lasted for three minutes.
