Russia struck a UNICEF warehouse in the Kyiv region where humanitarian aid intended for Ukrainian children and families affected by the war was being stored.
According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's Parliamentary Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets stated this on Telegram.
"The aggressor state has carried out yet another attack not only against civilian infrastructure, but also against an international humanitarian mission that saves lives every day," Lubinets wrote.
According to the Ombudsman, the strike destroyed more than 106,000 humanitarian aid items worth nearly $3.9 million, including generators, drinking water, hygiene kits, and other critically important emergency supplies.
"UNICEF has long been a partner of the Ombudsman's Office, providing daily assistance to Ukrainian children and families. An attack on a humanitarian warehouse is an attack on those who save lives," Lubinets stressed.
