In the first trailer for “The Real Housewives of New York City” Season 16, Carole Radziwill is confronted about her name appearing in the Epstein files.
During the preview, which teases Radziwill’s return to the show after last appearing on Season 10 — as Variety exclusively reported — Radziwill is questioned about her former association with Ghislaine Maxwell, who was convicted of trafficking minors for Jeffrey Epstein and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
During one scene, an unknown person on the street sees Radziwill talking with Erin Lichy, and yells: “She’s the one from the Epstein files!”
“You never went to this island?” cast member Sai de Silva asks Radziwill following the tense interaction. Radziwill quickly shuts that down: “No. You think I’m part of an international sex-trafficking ring?”
In an interview back in March with the New York Times, Radziwill was asked about her connection to Maxwell. “Imagine knowing someone and even being friendly with them and then they turn out to be, like, a monster,” she said, adding that she was friends with her for “five or six years” and “never knew Jeffrey Epstein.”
