Were the First-Week Numbers for Future’s Billboard 200-Topping ‘The Real Me’ Album What We Expected?

Another Future album, another No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Like 11 previous sets released by the superstar rapper — including all seven of his prior official non-collaboration albums — The Real Me, released on July 10, debuts at No. 1 on this week’s chart (dated July 25). The set bows with 131,000 first-week units, while also charting 17 songs on the Billboard Hot 100.

Those numbers are down a little from Future’s last unaccompanied solo album, however, as 2022’s I Never Liked You debuted with 222,000 units. That set also littered the Hot 100, with eight of its tracks entered in the top 20 — while the top-ranking Real Me cut on this week’s chart is “California Girls” at No. 23.
